Team Steel Colorado — Colorado Baseball Guide

Team Steel Colorado is part of Steel Sports, a national youth baseball organization for ages 8-18 with programs in Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, and Texas, founded with Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda. Trains out of Lasorda Legacy Academy, a 10,000 sq ft indoor turf facility in Johnstown, CO with six batting tunnels and five pitching areas.

26/27 baseball tryouts. Thursday "Future Legends" and Friday "Lasorda Legacy Academy" sessions split by age (8s-10s, 11s-12s, 13s-14s). Friday includes metrics, pitching, and extra hitting. Additionally, 9U is running supplemental tryouts for Spring 2027, looking for a couple more experienced 9U players (competitive/intermediate experience).
