Fort Collins Baseball Club (FCBC) is a private non-profit organization that has served Fort Collins and the surrounding area since 1961, growing from 8 teams with no uniforms, equipment, or fields into a club with over 250 teams and more than 3,300 players ages 4-24. Players participate across spring, summer, fall, and winter leagues. While the majority of programming emphasizes Recreational baseball (ages 4-18) as a feeder into competitive play and a source of youth recreation, FCBC also runs Intermediate and Competitive programs (facilitating league play, NC1X, High School, and tournaments) plus a High School program. FCBC is governed by a Board of Directors and a full-time Executive Director, plays games seven days a week across 50+ fields in the community, and is supported by 75+ trained umpires officiating nearly 3,000 games per year and 400+ volunteer coaches. FCBC has been a leader in local field construction, including the Boltz Field Project (1993), Lincoln Middle School fields (1995), Timnath Elementary, and Walt Weiss Field / Larry Walker Field (built via a grant with the Colorado Rockies and McCormick Tribune Foundation).
